How to Get Along with Democrats

According to President Obama, the best way for Republicans to get along with Democrats is to stop listening to Rush Limbaugh. "You can't just listen to Rush Limbaugh and get things done." he told GOP leaders. White House officials explained that he was trying to make a point about bipartisan efforts.

In addition, the article stated that Obama wants his way on the stimulus package and all other legislation; is he going to become a bully?  I would think that Republicans in the House and Senate have minds of their own. What if these Republicans are listening to the people they represent, should they stop listening to them also?

Are all Democrats on his side with the stimulus package? If not, does that mean that Obama need to browbeat the Republicans to compensate for some dissenting Democrats? This isn't reaching across the aisle, if the only way is the Obama way.

Rush doesn't promote peace by any means,I am all for this stimulus,we need something done, anything beats nothing. We need jobs bad or we will break the country with unemployment and welfare and food stamp lines.I even thought he was doing good to suggest birth control, with all the layoffs people have lost their health insurance, and they can't pay for birth control or anything else.We must ask ourselves which would we want, the government to pay foe BC, or the taxpayer to pay for welfare. It's funny the reps don't want Universal Health Care but we need it BAD now.All of Europe and Canada etc has no complaints. They chose their own doctors or not.Why are we so behind the times of something working so well?Even our military families have free health care!

Here is the link for the House Bill.

Do a search for jobs. There isn't much that creates jobs, exception would be for state grants to be given to veterans, which is fine, and "disconnected" youth.  Although you will find create jobs several times.
All kinds of money being given out left and right.  I am not blaming Obama for the way the bill is written. I drop that gem on the lap of Pelosi. Obama should make it clear to the House Democrats what he is expecting in the bill and to see to it that it is placed there. Unless he doesn't care what is in the bill, just so that the title of the bill sounds good and he can sign it and viola, I have made my campaign promise.
A lot of issues are facing Americans, and some federal agency  that want their offices redecorated doesn't cut it with me.
I think I heard about tax credits for buying a new house or car. That is nice for those who have jobs and not worried that their job might not be around next week.
As far as universal health care, now I haven't spoken to a lot of people just a very small number, but those few weren't happy with very long waits to get an appointment.
Those that have lost their jobs and health care still have COBRA though the cost of COBRA will make ones hair stand on end. Out of range if you income drops to zip.
I do understand, I want this bill go to who it is supposed to, the American people.
