Standing Up for What is Right

Pressure to be politically correct is growing at an alarming rate. What once was wrong is now right, what was once right is now wrong. Hollywood gives more praises for breaking the commandments of God than obeying them; and condemnation to those that stand up for the commandments. Some schools, certain activists, and yes, even some churches promote sin as something to be embraced.

Isaiah 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Some justify themselves using a part from the text of Mark 2:15 And it came to pass, that, as Jesus sat at meat in his house, many publicans and sinners sat also together with Jesus and his disciples; for there were many, and they followed him. Often they stop at this point and don't continue. Mark 2:16-17 And when the scribes and Pharisees him eat with publicans and sinners, they said unto the disciples. How is it that he eateth and drinketh with publicans and sinners? When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them. They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick; I came not to call the righteous, but (here is the important part) but sinners to repentance. Jesus spoke to sinners, dined with sinners, forgave sinners, however did not engage in sin with the sinners, nor did he say committing sin was acceptable.

Jesus taught his followers Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
