Health Care and Cash for Clunkers
As I sit here, at my desk looking over the news, after, which leaves me, feeling tired and it isn’t even 8 in the morning yet. News reports show protestors in Arizona on both sides of the health-care issue shown openly carrying firearms, which is legal in that state. It is my prayer that both sides will keep cool heads, and no one makes judgment call mistake. Hot heads and firearms are not a good mix.
Infighting among the Democrats whether or not to continue with the government-option health-care plan shows the plan needs more work. Granted something needs to be done about insurance plans, or insurance pains as I prefer to refer to them. Much of what Obama is hyping is a re-worked HMO plan. (Health Maintenance Organization) Back when the HMO plans were first introduced, they were pushed as a solution for those who could not afford health insurance. At first, the HMO plans seemed to work, now people can’t afford the HMO. Is it any wonder those that remember HMO question if this “new plan” will work better? Read the bill H.R. 3200 see for yourself what the government wants. Be warned the file is very large and may cause problems for some slower computers. The difference this time will be our tax dollars will be paying for this plan.
Next on the wonderful news in economics was the little tidbit the government has paid less than 2 percent of the claims made by car dealerships for the Cash for Clunkers program. Other news sources tout how car sales have soared, which is true. However, if the government fails to pay their end of the bargain, the car dealerships may be worse off than they were before.
The reason given for the delay in payments was that the government did not have enough staff to handle the paperwork. Great planning, wonder if this is how they will handle health care. Considering how the government has handled a variety programs in the past, most likely this one will also be handled just as inadequately.

If only this piece of over hyped legislation (not to mention overlong and legalistic speak)were only about revamping an HMO system. Not many people seem to have read enough of the proposed legislation to glom onto the bits about suicide consultations being provided to seniors after they reach 65. Or that senior care will be limited and if you're deemed too old you may not get anything but a suicide pill. Or about the bits that will include public funding for abortion so if it passes everyone one of us will become an accomplice.
What should worry people is that President Obama's top health adviser, Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel

)brother to Rahm, another top presidential advisor) has advocated -- in writing -- putting anti-fertility drugs into the water and food supply. How about them apples?
Go do some heavy reading. It's only a thousand or so pages (to cure a couple of minor problems in the current healthcare system?). And be sure to Google Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel and find some quotes from his written works. Be prepared to be shocked. Then I hope you'll be ready to tell your elected representatives to just say no to Obamacare.

There was nothing in the healthcare bill, reguarding suicide,That was meant to consult with the elderly, toward things like ,nursing home, hospice, whether they wanted to be kept on life support, etc.Yes I believe it,do you people really think that with all our fights with other countries over human rights,we would condone such a far out thing? Absolutely not! I would rather my tax dollars come back to me via health care than go where I can't benefit at all.
